At the age of 13 years old, a small town girl discovers that there is such a thing as a Jewellery Designer. Growing up, she’s always been more fascinated by costume jewelleries over toys, wearable trinkets over polly pockets. But never in her imagination that there’s someone building a career behind them. So, that sounds like the best life she can imagine; designing jewelleries and get paid for it. It’s something she would do for free. So it was a 13 year old girl’s dream becoming reality when Qis Hakim founded her levidrome namesake brand MIKAHSIQ as a private jeweller in 2017. Started off with family & friends as full-paying clients, she expanded her reach to jewellery collectors, wedding couples and Malaysian VIPs purely through referrals and words of mouth.
